The Doctor Robert W. Herring Jr. Scholarship Foundation was formed in 2010 based upon Dr. Herrings support and belief that everyone should have the opportunity to attend college. Dr. Herring strongly supports higher education and has shown political support of the current Tennessee governs program “Tennessee Promise”.
Dr. Herring’s strong educational beliefs are based upon today’s competitive job market where education is key in obtaining successful employment. “Without undergraduate and graduate studies it is very difficult for America and its workforce to compete in the global economy” stated by Dr. Herring at the announcement of Erin’s selection. Dr. Herring also believes education is the corner stone needed to build business, science and HealthCare leaders of tomorrow.
We wish Erin continued success and blessings with the support from the Dr. Robert W. Herring Jr. Scholarship foundation!
